Fire light. Star light. Snow light. Thousands of candles, millions of stars, and you.
This popular event ignites the festive season with thousands of candles along the paths of the Kurimoto Japanese Garden in a breathtaking display – a quiet oasis of peace and light. Stroll through candle-lit pathways, hot apple cider beside the bonfires, ice sculptures, delightful "snow sprites" and the seasonal sounds of strolling a capella singers, and, for the first time, experience the Aga Khan Garden, Alberta in winter. Let the little ones run through the Snowlight Maze; make a wish and hang it on a Wish-Upon-A-Star Tree, enjoy hot food and beverage options. As always, a special Memory Lane will be available for visitors who would like to light a candle in honour of a loved one, by donation.
We are pleased to be partnering once again with the Spruce Grove Kinettes, who will be on site accepting toys, gifts and donations for their Christmas Hamper program (no food donations at Luminaria, please, as there are no facilities to manage them).
